Frequently asked questions

Every answer takes a few lines and links to the guide that details it.

Before you start

Why is there no password?

You get a sign-in link by e-mail, valid for 15 minutes. There is no password to remember or to reset. → Signing in

What stops me sending my first quote?

Three things: your company profile, your décennale insurance (the compulsory ten-year building liability cover), and a client on the quote (devis). The message at the top of the screen says what is missing. → The setup walk-through

Can I import my clients or my prices?

There is no automatic import for now. The library that comes with Devivolt covers most of the trade, and you put it at your prices by duplicating the work items. → Your works library

Day to day

Why can I no longer edit my quote?

Because it has been sent: it carries an official number and its content no longer changes. Duplicate it, correct the copy, and send that one. → Issuing a quote

Why does my quote show 20 % instead of 10 %?

Something is missing on the site: either there is no site, or its age is not recorded. Devivolt then applies 20 % and tells you so. → VAT on your quotes

My logo does not appear on the PDF

Check that it is saved in Settings → Documents, in the right format. A document already sent keeps the look it had that day. → Your document settings

How do I delete a client or a work item?

You do not delete: you archive a client and remove a work item. Documents already written do not change. → Your clients · Your works library

When it goes wrong

My client cannot sign

Nine times out of ten the code is in their spam: it arrives in a second e-mail. Otherwise the code expired (10 minutes), or they asked for too many in one day. → Getting a quote signed

I made a mistake on a sent invoice

A sent invoice is not edited: you issue an avoir (credit note), full or partial. → Correcting with an avoir

Check your spam, check the address you typed, then ask for a new link. → When things go wrong

I am not receiving any quote requests

Every plan receives, the trial included. Check that the listing is published, that your town is recognised (or that a postal code is in your zone), and that the monthly cap is not reached — the line at the top of Requests says so. → Receiving quote requests

Money and account

What happens at the end of my free trial?

The trial runs until your 3rd quote is signed or your 10th quote is issued, with no bank card — it is not counted in days. The quote that reaches either threshold still leaves you 14 days to choose a plan. If the trial ends with no plan chosen, a "Trial ended" message appears: you no longer create documents, but everything you have done stays readable and exportable, even without a subscription. Choosing a plan reopens creation: there is no second trial, your first month is charged when you subscribe. → My subscription

What happens if I do not pay my subscription?

You can no longer create new quotes, invoices and inspections. Everything you have already done stays readable, downloadable and exportable. → My subscription

Can I ask a happy client for a review?

No. The invitation goes out on its own, seven days after a facture de solde (balance invoice) is paid. That is what gives the "verified review" label its value. → Customer reviews

How do I get all my data back?

One button prepares a complete ZIP file. The link stays valid for 7 days. → My personal data

The trade

Does Devivolt replace the Consuel?

No. The checklist helps you review the installation before the visit of the Consuel (the body that certifies electrical installations). It replaces neither the Consuel nor the certificate of conformity. → On site

Is Devivolt's electronic signature worth anything?

Devivolt keeps the evidence: the e-mail used, the one-time code, the times, a fingerprint of the document. It helps you gather that evidence, but it is not a certification body. → After the signature

Can I work with no network on a site?

A draft quote or a site inspection that is already open keeps working: your entries go out when the network is back. Opening a new screen, sending, getting signed and collecting payment need the network. → Devivolt on my phone

Is Devivolt compatible with French e-invoicing?

Yes, for everything outgoing: your invoices are produced in the Factur-X format, and Devivolt transmits them for you, e-reporting included, once your Super PDP account is linked. Only receiving your supplier invoices happens elsewhere: pick an accredited platform before 1 September 2026. → French e-invoicing

Still stuck?

Use the search box, top right. A problem in the app is reported from More → Ideas & reports, and a feature you miss is proposed there to the other electricians (how to). Otherwise write to contact@devivolt.com: the answer comes during business hours.
