Customer reviews

In short

A review always comes from a site that was invoiced and paid. Seven days after a facture de solde (balance invoice) is paid, your customer receives an invitation. You can reply publicly, once, and report a review that breaks the rules.

The screen: Reviews menu (on a phone: More tab → Reviews).

How a review arrives

  1. You invoice the balance of a signed quote (devis), and your customer pays it.
  2. Seven days later, Devivolt sends them an invitation to leave a review.
  3. If they do not answer, a reminder goes out a week later. The link stays valid for 90 days.
  4. The review appears on your listing right away and counts in your average.

One site = one review, even if there were several factures d'acompte (deposit invoices).

Why you cannot ask for one

You can neither trigger an invitation nor choose who receives it. That is what keeps the "verified review" label honest: every review matches a site that was really invoiced and paid.

In practice, it means one thing: invoice in Devivolt if you want reviews.

Replying

You can write a public reply under the review. You can edit it as long as the review is not reported.

Replying to a harsh review

An unhappy customer gets read. A short, factual reply gets read too, and it is what reassures the next customer. Do not argue point by point: say what you offered.

Reporting a review

A report does not remove the review: it stays visible during the examination, which takes up to 7 business days.

The accepted reasons:

  • its author was not a customer, or the work described did not take place;
  • insults, discriminatory remarks or threats;
  • advertising or promotion of a competitor;
  • it names a person, an address or a phone number;
  • it obviously concerns another company.

A negative review is not a reason to report. What gets examined is what breaks the rules, not what you dislike.

Give verifiable details: a date, a quote number, a fact.

Google reviews

Your Google reviews are not your Devivolt reviews, and the listing never mixes them: when they exist, they appear apart, under the title "Google reviews", with grey stars, their source and the date they were read. Devivolt does not verify them, does not moderate them and does not count them in your rating or in the ranking of your listing. You cannot reply to them from Devivolt: the reply is written on Google, and read along with the review.

An author who does not want their Google review on your listing can take it off with one click under the review; a visitor who thinks this is not your Google listing can report it, and the block leaves while it is checked. You keep the last word from My directory listing.
