Devivolt on my phone
In short
Devivolt installs on your home screen like an app, without going through an app store. With no network, a draft quote (devis) that is already open stays editable, and the answers of a site inspection are kept. With network only: opening a new screen, sending a quote, getting it signed, recording a payment.
Installing
- Android (Chrome): open Devivolt, then the ⋮ menu → Install app.
- iPhone (Safari): Share button → Add to Home Screen.
The icon sits there like an app's, and Devivolt opens full screen.
What works with no network
- Editing a draft quote that is already open. Your entries are kept and go out when the network is back.
- Ticking a site inspection that is already open, photos included (up to 50 waiting).
Open the screen you will need before losing the network: with no connection, Devivolt cannot load a page it has not displayed yet.
What needs the network
Sending a quote or an invoice, sending it for signature, signing, recording a payment, generating a PDF. These are official acts: they need a connection.
On a site with no network
- Open the quote or the inspection before arriving, then prepare what you can: draft, lines, notes.
- The screen tells you that you are offline and what is waiting: "You are offline. Your draft changes are kept and will go out when the network is back."
- Back in a covered area, everything goes out on its own, in order. You have no button to press.
If a send fails, Devivolt tries again later.
Site inspections
The self-inspection screen records each answer right away. If the network drops halfway through, you pick up where you were. See Ticking off on site.
