Receiving quote requests

In short

A private customer who finds your listing on the directory can describe their site to you. The request lands in the Requests menu (on a phone: More tab → Requests), and an e-mail tells you at once. One click turns it into a client, a site and a quote (devis), already pre-filled.

Every plan receives — the trial, Essentiel, and a subscription behind on its payment. Outside Visibilité, a monthly cap applies: a few requests per civil month (five as of today), then the "Request a quote" button leaves your listing until the next month. A line at the top of Requests says where you stand: "2 requests received this month out of 5". The Visibilité plan receives every request, with no cap; for now it is reserved to its existing subscribers (see My subscription).

Where requests come from: your zone

A request only reaches you if the site is in your zone.

With no zone set, you receive the requests of your commune and its neighbouring communes: that is the default zone, and My directory listing says so under the My intervention zone section. Nothing to do to start receiving.

To set it yourself, the zone is a set of postal codes:

  1. Open My directory listing, section My intervention zone.
  2. Type a postal code or the name of a town, then + Add: the suggested town adds all its postal codes at once.
  3. Each code becomes a chip; the cross removes it. Devivolt confirms the number of codes covered after each change.

As soon as one postal code is recorded, your zone is the one that counts, no longer the default.

What a request contains

The type of work (new installation, electrical renovation, repair, Consuel compliance — the body that certifies electrical installations —, heating and hot water, charging point, solar panels, other), the description of the site, its location and the customer's contact details.

A request you have not converted is deleted after six months.

The requests received before you signed up

If your listing already existed in the directory before you claimed it (see My directory listing), private customers may already have asked for a quote on it: those requests were transmitted to you by e-mail, to the address your company published, and you may already have answered them.

The day you claim the listing, they join your inbox, as they are, and your first sign-in opens straight on Requests to show them to you. Each carries its history line: "Received on 12 October, before you signed up — transmitted by e-mail to …". Sort them like the others; the ones you already handled are marked Contacted or No follow-up in one click.

Answering and turning it into a quote

Two paths, depending on the job:

  • Answer by e-mail: the customer's address is a link in the request; one click opens your mail client, and your answer leaves from your usual mailbox. Then mark the request Contacted.
  • Convert → client + site + quote does everything at once: the client is created, so is their site, and a draft quote opens, already attached. You have nothing to retype.

Sorting requests

StatusWhen to use it
NewNothing has been done yet
ContactedYou have answered ("Mark as contacted")
ConvertedThe client, their site and the quote were created
No follow-upOff topic, over budget, out of time
SpamA fake request

A request marked Spam does not count towards your monthly cap.

I am not receiving any requests

Check in this order:

  1. Is your listing published? See My directory listing.
  2. Is your town recognised? Without a recognised commune and without a postal code in your zone, no request can reach you: check the spelling of the town under Your company details, or add a postal code to your zone.
  3. Is the monthly cap reached? The line at the top of Requests says so; the button comes back on your listing the next month.
  4. Has Devivolt suspended your account? That is the only case where a published listing receives nothing; an e-mail told you.

A subscription behind on its payment, an ended trial or a cancellation do not cut off the requests: they keep arriving, within the cap, and converting them waits until the account is settled.
