Terms and security
In short
You accept the terms and conditions at your first sign-in. When they change, Devivolt shows them to you again. Devivolt helps you in your work: it certifies neither your installation nor the compliance of your documents.
Accepting the terms again
When the terms change, Devivolt shows them to you at your next sign-in, under the title Our terms have changed, with the I accept these terms button. Until you accept, access stays closed — except the exit: you can always sign out. Nothing is deleted; your data is waiting for you.
What Devivolt does, and does not do
What it does:
- write the mentions obligatoires (mandatory statements) on your documents;
- keep your quote (devis) and invoice (facture) numbers, with no gap and no duplicate;
- keep every sent document as it was, and allow it to be verified;
- keep the evidence of a remote signature;
- help you review your installation before the Consuel (the body that certifies electrical installations).
What it does not do:
- certify an installation: only the Consuel issues the certificate;
- guarantee that a reduced TVA (VAT) rate applies to your site;
- replace your accountant or your insurer.
Where your data is
Your data and your documents are hosted in France. Devivolt does not sell them and does not pass them on to anyone but you, unless legally required. The privacy policy, available from My data, names each provider.
Signing in without a password: the right habits
- Protect your mailbox: it is what opens Devivolt. A good password and two-factor authentication with your e-mail provider are what protect you best.
- Sign out on a device that is not yours.
- Never forward a sign-in link: it opens your account.
- The links you send to your customers, on the other hand, are made to be passed on. A sharing link can be cut off when it no longer has a reason to exist.
