Signing in (without a password)

In short​

Devivolt has no password. You enter your e-mail address. You receive a link. You click it, and you are signed in.

The link is valid for 15 minutes and works only once. After that, you stay signed in on that device for 30 days.

Signing in​

  1. Open Devivolt and enter your e-mail address.
  2. Tick the box accepting the terms and conditions. It is asked every time you request a link, not only the first time.
  3. Click Send me my sign-in link.
  4. Open the e-mail you received and click the button. You land in Devivolt.

This is also how you create your account: if the address is new, the account is created by itself on the first sign-in. There is no other sign-up form. You then land directly on the setup walk-through, and your free trial starts, with no bank card: it runs until your 3rd quote is signed or your 10th quote is issued.

Try in this order:

  1. Look in your junk folder (spam). This is the most common cause.
  2. Check the address you typed. One letter too many, and the e-mail goes elsewhere.
  3. Wait a minute. Some mail providers take a few seconds to deliver.
  4. Request a new link. If the message "Too many link requests" shows up, wait the time indicated: it is a protection so that nobody can flood your mailbox.

If nothing arrives after several tries, your mail provider may be blocking the sender. Try with another address, then write to us.

Two possible explanations:

  • The link is more than 15 minutes old. Request a new one.
  • The link has already been used. It works only once. If you opened it on your phone, it will no longer work on the computer. Request a link from the device you want to work on.

Some antivirus programs open the links in e-mails before you do, which uses them up. If this happens every time, let us know.

Staying signed in, changing device​

  • You stay signed in for 30 days, and the countdown restarts on each visit.
  • Each device needs its own link: phone, tablet and computer are separate.
  • To sign out: open the More menu (the tab at the bottom of the screen on a phone, your name at the bottom of the left-hand menu on a computer), then Sign out.

On a device that is not yours Remember to sign out when you leave. As long as the session is open, your whole account is accessible without a password.
