French e-invoicing
In short
Electronic invoicing becomes mandatory between businesses in France: receiving from 1 September 2026, issuing from 1 September 2027 for a business of your size. Devivolt already produces your invoices in the right format and transmits them for you, from your own account with the accredited platform Super PDP, once that account is linked. One thing never goes through Devivolt: receiving your supplier invoices.
What Devivolt does for you
- The right format, without thinking about it. Every issued invoice or credit note is a Factur-X: the usual PDF, with the regulatory electronic data embedded inside. It is the file accredited platforms accept — the one you send is already the right one.
- The new legal statements, written for you. The business customer's SIREN, the work-site address, the nature of the operation, the VAT option: Devivolt carries them onto the invoice from your client record and your settings, and refuses to issue an invoice to a business whose SIRET is missing — a clear message now beats a rejection later.
- Automatic transmission. Once your Super PDP account is linked (see below), your issued invoices and credit notes leave on their own, and their statuses — deposited, received, rejected… — appear in each invoice's history. You are the one issuing: Devivolt transmits on your order, with the access you delegate to it and can withdraw at any time.
- Your sales to private customers, ready to report. The E-reporting screen of your invoices gathers, period by period, your sales to private customers and your payments received. With your account linked, the statement leaves on its own at the end of each period; otherwise, download it and file it with your platform.
Linking your Super PDP account
Super PDP is the accredited platform Devivolt transmits your invoices through. The account you open there is yours, in your name: Devivolt does not know its password, it only receives your authorization to use it to transmit.
Before you start, keep at hand:
- your complete company record in Devivolt (legal name, SIRET, address) — it is what the linking names;
- an ID document;
- your phone: the identity check ends there.
The journey, in four steps:
- In Settings → E-invoicing, click Link my Super PDP account. You leave for Super PDP; your e-mail and your SIREN are already filled in.
- Create your account at Super PDP — or sign in to yours if you already have one. You confirm your e-mail with a code, name your company and accept Super PDP's terms.
- Have your identity checked. Super PDP does it, not Devivolt: the check is done with your ID document, from your phone. Devivolt sees neither the document nor the details of the check, only its outcome.
- Authorize Devivolt to transmit your invoices from that account. You then come back to your settings.
The same button exists in the setup walk-through, at the Your e-invoices step.
What the screen shows next
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not linked | Nothing is transmitted. Your invoices are issued normally; filing the Factur-X by hand remains possible. |
| Being verified by Super PDP | Your account is linked, Super PDP is verifying your company. It usually takes a few minutes; if the automatic check fails, their support takes over your file, and Devivolt sends you a reminder by e-mail after three days. Nothing to do on Devivolt's side: the transmission starts on its own once verified, invoices issued in the meantime included. |
| On | Your invoices and credit notes leave on their own, and the e-reporting of a closed period is transmitted every morning. |
| To be linked again | Devivolt no longer has access to your Super PDP account: the access was withdrawn or has expired. Nothing leaves; you get an e-mail. Click Link my Super PDP account again: the invoices issued in the meantime leave at once. |
If the linked Super PDP account is not the one of the company on your record — the SIREN differs — Devivolt refuses the link and tells you both numbers: link the account of the company that issues your invoices, or correct your record.
What it costs
Nothing beyond your subscription. The transmission is included in it, and the fees Super PDP charges for this link — your identity check, the deposits — are borne by Devivolt, not by you: the account you open in this journey costs you nothing. It remains governed by Super PDP's terms, which you accept with them when you create it.
I already have an accredited platform
You picked a platform to receive your supplier invoices: nothing changes. Linking to Super PDP only covers issuing; Devivolt never moves your reception. Issuing through one platform and receiving through another is part of the reform: the national directory tells where each company receives.
To issue, two options:
- Transmit from Devivolt: you open a second account, at Super PDP, used for issuing only. It is the journey described above.
- File by yourself: without a second account, download the PDF of each issued invoice — it already is a Factur-X — and file it on your platform. The e-reporting statement is downloaded from the E-reporting screen.
Unlinking your account
In Settings → E-invoicing, click Unlink my Super PDP account. Devivolt loses its access at once: nothing leaves anymore, and the deposits already made are untouched. Your Super PDP account remains yours — close it at Super PDP if you wish.
You can also withdraw the access from your Super PDP account: Devivolt notices, tells you by e-mail, and the screen switches to "To be linked again".
What is left to you
- Pick an accredited platform to receive your supplier invoices, before 1 September 2026. That choice is yours — your accountant often has one to suggest, and the only reliable list is the official list on impots.gouv.fr.
- Keep your business clients' records right: a correct SIRET is an invoice that goes through first time.
- Link your Super PDP account when you are ready, ID document and phone at hand.
The limits, plainly
- Devivolt does not receive your supplier invoices. Receiving happens at the accredited platform you chose; Devivolt only handles what goes out.
- Devivolt does not keep your books and does not file your VAT: e-reporting prepares the data, your accountant remains your accountant.
- Devivolt does not check your identity: Super PDP does, and its support is the one that answers if the check gets stuck.
- A rejection remains possible — a SIREN unknown to the directory, for example. The invoice itself stays valid: you get an e-mail, the status shows on the invoice, you fix the client record and transmission resumes. Manual filing of the file always remains available as a fallback.
- Your receiving platform stays your own: transmission by Devivolt imposes nothing on that side.
