Automatic follow-ups
In short
A quote (devis) sent for signature and left unanswered is followed up after 5 days, then 12 days. The follow-ups stop on their own as soon as the customer has signed or declined. You can turn them off quote by quote.
What your customer receives
A short e-mail, with the same link, still valid. They do not have to find the first message again. You can add a personal note to it in Settings → Documents.
Turning follow-ups off
On the quote screen, under the signature card: Turn follow-ups off. The text changes to "Automatic follow-ups are turned off for this quote.", and Turn follow-ups back on reverses it.
It is useful when you are already following the deal by phone.
When they stop on their own
- The customer signs or declines.
- The signature link has expired, on the quote's validity date.
- The customer has unsubscribed from Devivolt's e-mails: they are no longer followed up.
You have nothing to cancel: Devivolt checks the quote's state just before each send. Each follow-up sent is recorded in the quote's History, and the quote list shows "reminded on…".
