Mandatory statements
In short
Devivolt writes the legal statements (mentions obligatoires) of your quote (devis) from your settings. You can rewrite any of them: your text then replaces the automatic text, on this quote only.
The card: Texts of the quote, in the Legal mentions part of the quote screen. It is folded: Edit opens it.
What Devivolt writes for you
| Statement | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Decennial liability insurance | Your Insurance screen — the décennale, the compulsory ten-year building liability insurance |
| Payment terms | Your payment period, in Settings → Documents |
| Late payment penalties | Your penalty rate, plus the fixed €40 recovery fee |
| Early payment discount | The statement about a discount for early payment |
| Validity of the offer | The quote's "Valid until" date |
| Consumer mediator | The mediator you have indicated |
Changing a text
- Open the statement, rewrite it, click Save this text.
- It then carries the Edited mark: it no longer follows your settings on this quote.
- Restore the composed text goes back to the automatic version.
It is handy for a particular site, without changing your settings for all the other quotes.
The "Waste management" block
It is mandatory on quotes for building works. Devivolt pre-fills it; adjust it to the site:
- Estimated waste: the expected quantity.
- Collection point or facility: where it will be taken.
- Removal cost: put
0if it is included in your prices. - Further details: what the rest does not say.
Save the waste block keeps your changes.
If a statement is missing
When a mandatory statement cannot be written — for example if your insurance is incomplete — Devivolt refuses to send the quote and shows "Cannot be issued", with the link to the setting to complete. See Issuing a quote.
