Lines and prices
In short
Four kinds of lines: a work (ouvrage) from your library, a free line, a section title, a comment. The totals are recalculated at every change.
Adding lines
- From the library: a panel opens on your works, favorites first, with the filters All,
Favourites and Personal. The + button adds the work to the quote; you can add
several in a row, then close with Done. The label, the description, the price and the VAT
(TVA) rate come along with the work. The price is the one the library shows: supply cost
- margin on supplies + installation time × hourly rate (see The works library); you can then change it on the line without touching the work.
- Free line: you type everything yourself.
- Section: a title to group lines ("Panel", "Lighting"), with no amount.
- Comment: a line of text for your customer, with no amount.
Quantities, prices, discounts
Each line has a quantity, a unit price excluding VAT, a VAT rate and, if you want, a discount in percent. The line total updates straight away.
The global discount is entered in the summary, at the bottom of the quote, in % or in €, then Apply. It is applied after the line discounts and spread over each VAT rate, so the amounts stay right.
Reordering lines
With a mouse, drag the line. On a phone, use the Move the line up and Move the line down buttons.
The summary
At the bottom of the quote: the total excluding VAT, the global discount if there is one, the VAT detailed by rate, and the total including VAT.
Checkpoints
Some lines show "Checkpoints: …". These are the points of the NF C 15-100 standard (the French electrical installation standard) that this work will add to your site checklist, once the quote is signed. You have nothing to do. See On site.
