The self-inspection report
In short
When you close an inspection, Devivolt produces a PDF report: the reservations first, then every point by category, with your notes and your photos. You can share it by a link, and cut that link whenever you like.
What the report contains
- The header: your company, the client, the site, the closing date, the referential.
- A summary in figures: points answered, compliant, not applicable, reservations.
- The reservations first: that is what people look for when they open the document.
- Every point, by category, with its answer, the note and the photos.
- At the bottom of the page, the mention that recalls what this document is.
View the report opens it, from the inspection or from the inspection list.
Sharing it
Create a share link (on the closed inspection, or Share link (revocable) from the inspection list) produces an address to send to your client, the project manager or the inspection body. Two things to know:
- The link is shown only once: copy it right away.
- Cut the share link disables it immediately. You can create a new one.
The shared page does not show up in search engines: only someone who has the link can see it.
Reopening an inspection
If you reopen an inspection, the report is no longer frozen until you close it again. That is normal: a report must match what you observed.
What this report is worth
The report is your working document. It shows that you went through the installation, point by point, on a given date. It replaces neither the Consuel visit, nor the certificate of conformity.
It does what it is asked to: let you face the Consuel knowing what will be looked at, and having checked it.
